Triton Marine USA has the experience and licenses neccessary to operate safely in New York, New Jersey, and all along the East Coast of the United States.  Years of piloting vessels up and down the coast have taught us one thing - each delivery is different and requires proper attention and planning.

Although we typically perform our services within the east coast - our crews do maintain the licenses and have the experience to go elsewhere.

Yacht deliveries are highly specific to the type of vessel, the destination, and many other factors - but a typical yacht delivery can be broken down into the following stages:


Initial Quote and Consultation:


During the initial quote and consulation stage (usually done over the phone or via email) we'll introduce ourselves to you, tell you about our services, what you can expect, and gather information about your specific yacht delivery.

Some of the information we collect before providing you with a quote includes:

  • The current location of your vessel.
  • Where you would like your yacht to be delivered.
  • When you would like your yacht to be delivered.
  • The type of vessel and it's dimensions (ie. Length, Beam, Draft, and Bridge Clearance)
  • Information about navigational equipment onboard your vessel
  • And some more information to better assess your specific delivery.

Pre-voyage Inspection & Planning


Pre-Voyage Inspection:


Before we cast off from the dock - we will inspect your yacht, in person, and make sure that your vessel is fit and ready to make the journey.   Don't worry if your yacht isn't in tip-top shape at the time of delivery.   Triton Marine USA has experience moving yachts in all types of conditions.   If we deem it neccessary to make repairs before the Journey we will walk you through the process every step of the way.



Pre-Voyage Planning:


Once we have a solid understanding of the condition and characteristics of your yacht we will begin our pre-voyage planning stage.   We will find the safest and most efficient route to get your yacht from point A to point B.


The Delivery


Typically the most exciting part of the yacht delivery process (for both us and the customer).

The delivery phase is when we crew up your yacht and cast off.   You can expect our crew to be underway and making way from sun-up to sun-down throughout the entire length of the journey.

Additionally - we are more than happy to bring you or any other guests you'd like along with us as long as we don't exceed the maximum number of people allowed on the vessel.
