Frequently Asked Questions

How do I schedule a yacht delivery?

Having a yacht delivered can seem like alot of work - but at Triton Marine USA we try to make it as easy as possible.

Please fill out our "Get A Quote" or "Contact Us" form to begin the process and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible to begin planning your yacht delivery.

If you wish to get in contact with us directly you can also call us at 646-676-9656 between 8am and 8pm (est) 7 days per week.

What type of vessels do you transport?

We are experienced in delivering yachts of all sizes and up to 500 tons.   Although we focus on New York and East Coast yacht deliveries, our Captains are licensed to take your boat anywhere in the world.

For more information on the type of yachts we deliver please check out our yacht delivery page.

How long does a yacht delivery typically take?

The length of a delivery varies based on the length of the route, weather, and other factors specific to your vessel.   But as a reference - you can expect a typical delivery from New York to Florida to take anywhere from 5 to 7 days.

Depending on weather and other conditions our Captain & crew will be underway and making way from sun up to sun down throughout the length of the voyage.

Are your Captains experienced?

Absolutely!

In fact, our Captain's experience, licenses, and qualifications surpass those of many other yacht delivery services.   Our Lead Captain and Founder is licensed by the United States Coast Guard to command vessels of up to 500 tons anywhere in the world and is licensed to command vessels as big as container ships within the Inland waters of the United States.

For more information about the experience and qualifications of our Lead Captain and Founder please visit our Meet the Captain page.

How much does a yacht delivery cost?

Due to the nature of yacht deliveries it is impossible to specify an exact price for a delivery before collecting information about the specific trip.

When you are ready to begin scheduling your delivery please contact us here and we will happily discuss the details of your delivery and be able to give you an accurate quote.

You can also complete the following "Get a Quote" form to begin the process.

Can I (the owner) travel with you?

Of course!

It is your vessel and we are more than happy to have the owner and other passengers join us on the voyage.

Please keep in mind that we are limited by Coast Guard capacity regulations depending on the size of your vessel.   Additionally we ask that the owner and other passengers respect the decision making authority of the Captain.

Rest assured that we are professional, experienced mariners and the safety of the vessel and those onboard are our top priority!

Does Triton Marine USA only deliver yachts in New York?

Although Triton Marine USA is based out of New York we specialize in delivering yachts all over the East Coast of the United States.   That means we will take your vessel from berth to destination anywhere along the East Coast.

The qualifications of our Captains also allows us to deliver yachts up to 500 tons anywhere in the world.

If you have any special requests for boat deliveries outside of the Eastern United States please feel free to contact us.

Does Triton Marine USA offer a cancellation policy?

Company Cancellation Policy:  We know that yacht deliveries are a big deal (and often very exciting for the owner!) but Triton Marine USA does reserve the right to cancel of make modifications to a delivery if weather, conditions, or other circumstances prevent a timely or safe delivery.
